Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is a horror survival game developed by Scott Cawthon. It is the second installment in the FNaF series and serves as a prequel to the first game. Players take on the role of a night security guard at a haunted children's restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The goal is to survive five (or more) nights from 12 AM to 6 AM, while being hunted by malfunctioning and aggressive animatronic characters.
Unlike the first game, fnaf 2 introduces a larger cast of animatronics — both new and old — and removes the use of doors for protection. Instead, players must rely on a limited flashlight, security cameras, and a Freddy Fazbear mask to survive.
How to Play:
Survive the Night (12 AM – 6 AM):
Each night lasts around 7-8 minutes in real time. Your main goal is to prevent the animatronics from reaching your office.
Monitor the Cameras:
Use the building’s surveillance system to track the movement of animatronics through the different rooms.
Use the Freddy Mask:
If an animatronic enters your office, quickly put on the Freddy Fazbear mask to trick them into thinking you’re one of them. However, some animatronics won’t be fooled.
Wind Up the Music Box (Cam 11):
Constantly check Camera 11 and keep the music box wound up. If it stops, the Puppet (Marionette) will emerge and attack, resulting in an immediate game over.
Use the Flashlight Wisely:
The flashlight is essential for checking dark hallways and deterring animatronics like Foxy. It has limited battery life, so use it sparingly.
Each Animatronic Behaves Differently:
Learn the behavior of each animatronic (e.g., Toy Chica, Balloon Boy, Withered Bonnie, etc.) to effectively counter their attacks.
Later Nights Are More Difficult:
As the nights progress, the animatronics become more aggressive and unpredictable, requiring faster reflexes and more strategic play.
Pro Tips:
Don’t forget to wind the music box constantly — it's a top priority.
Flash the hallway regularly to keep Foxy at bay.
Use the mask immediately when Balloon Boy or any animatronic enters the office.
Keep calm and stay alert — panic leads to mistakes!
