I had a generally good recent experience with Air France LOS Terminal. The airline offered a somewhat easy boarding process, professional crew, and effective service. Although there were a few small things that could have been done better, the whole event was enjoyable and well-run.
Check-in & Security
I was happy to discover that the Air France check-in procedure was quick and easy when I arrived at the LOS terminal. The airline makes it simple for customers to check in according to their preferences by providing both manned counters and self-service kiosks. The check-in staff processed passengers in a timely manner and were kind and professional. The lines moved reasonably quickly, and luggage drop-off went efficiently even though the airport was crowded.
Murtala Muhammed International Airport has a reputation for having strong security, which was clear to me during my visit. To guarantee passenger safety, a comprehensive security screening was conducted, including meticulous inspections. The security staff maintained their professionalism and efficiency throughout the lengthy process, which helped to keep things going well. The only negative aspect was the sporadic absence of explicit directions, which confused some travelers who were not familiar with the protocols.
Terminal Facilities
The LOS terminal was well-maintained and provided a respectable array of facilities for passengers. Although there was some seating, it was difficult to find a comfortable location during busy times. To accommodate varying passenger tastes, the terminal offered a number of eating options, from sit-down dinners to quick snacks.
There was duty-free shopping with a decent assortment of luxury items, souvenirs, and travel necessities. To provide additional choices for tourists from other countries, the variety might be enhanced. The availability of Wi-Fi, which allowed travelers to keep connected while awaiting their flight, was one highlight. Additionally, there were charging stations available, which was practical for people who needed to recharge their electronics before leaving. The overall experience was enhanced by the restrooms' cleanliness and upkeep.
Boarding & In-Flight Experience
In general, boarding followed a regular group arrangement and was well-organized. Some people appeared uncertain about when to proceed to the gate, though, so the instructions could have been more explicit. The flight left on time, and the procedure was effective despite this small problem.
The Air France plane was comfy, clean, and well-maintained once you were on board. The cabin crew made sure that guests had a good time by being kind, professional, and attentive. For an economy class flight, the seats were very roomy, and it was a pleasant touch that Air France offered free food and beverages. The trip was made more pleasurable by the assortment of films, TV series, and music available on the in-flight entertainment system.
Final Thoughts
I had a seamless and effective overall experience with Air France at LOS Terminal. A stress-free pre-flight experience was guaranteed by the efficient management of the security check, check-in procedure, and terminal amenities. Clearer boarding announcements and more seats in certain places would be helpful, but these were small issues in an otherwise seamless trip. Without a doubt, I would think about taking another flight with Air France and suggest it to anyone else visiting Lagos.
