Effect Of Ayurvedic Treatment on Sexual Problems:
In Ayurveda, Shukra Dhatu (responsible for sexual hormones and sperm formation) is considered the final dhatu, formed only after the proper nourishment of all preceding dhatus- Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, and Majja. In simple terms, healthy nourishment of all body tissues leads to healthy sexual functioning.
The foundation begins with Rasa Dhatu, which nourishes every subsequent dhatu. Since quality Rasa Dhatu is formed only after proper digestion (Agni bala), any weakness in digestion indirectly affects sexual health. This is why many sexual disorders are closely connected with digestive imbalance.
Additionally, the balance of the three doshas-Vata, Pitta, and Kapha- plays a crucial role. When disturbed by improper diet, irregular lifestyle, poor sleep, or stress, these can disrupt sexual health and lead to various dysfunctions in the body.
Stepwise pattern to treat sexual Dysfunction In Ayurveda:
Diagnosing the causes and dosha dhatu behind the sexual problem through proper consultation and diagnostic parameters (if required).
Working on Jathargni (digestive power) through different classical ayurveda medication according to the dosha aggravated.
Providing proper ayurveda medication according to dosha and dhatu for tissue nourishment and shukra dhatu development.
Changes in Lifestyle and diet through proper counselling and guidance for technique to improve proper control.
Proper follow ups on time to track everything through the treatment.
According to Ayurveda, common diseases in two individuals may have different associations of dosha and dhatu. That is why every individual needs a different treatment protocol for the same disease to be treated.
